About

  • “Great photography is about depth of feeling, not depth of field.”
    — Peter Adams

I am an Idaho native that spent over a decade in Los Angeles practicing photography focused on live musicians and children. I was at the center of the Low End Theory venue at it’s prime - shooting artists like Flying Lotus, Glitch Mob, Nosaj Thing and more, as they gave birth to a unique sound now known as the “LA Beat Scene.”

As a photographer for Poo-Bah Records, based in Pasadena, I also apprenticed under Nine Inch Nails Creative Director, John Crawford. I also love working with families! I feel fortunate to have captured many, many amazing moments in the lives of the families I’ve worked with, and reflect for them the beauty that I see.

My style is candid, high contrast, and saturated with color and emotion. My hope for my photography is to capture the essence and energy of my subjects in a specific, singular moment in time.

My name is Anthea, I love people and light.
